This past year Marquis was a scholar athlete at Whittier College and a member of the All-SCIAC Academic team. "After my baseball career is over, I plan on pursuing a career in coaching. I've loved this game since I was 4 years old and I want to be able to share my passion and knowledge of the game with others and do my best to get players to the most elite level as possible." Maquis has been a student under Coach Bleecker for the last 3 years studying slow motion video analysis of hitters, human kinetics and body movement. Marquis wishes to help change the development of baseball players and continue to push forward in empowering young players to seek out quality information instead of conventional wisdom.
